Jasmine Perez is a HR Manager for Claxton Poultry Farms at their facility located in Screven County.
Founded in 1949, Claxton Poultry Farms is a family-owned company and one of the leading poultry processors in the Southeast. The company produces and distributes high-quality chicken to customers across the U.S. including major national brands like Chick-fil-A, KFC and Popeyes. Claxton Poultry plays a vital role in Georgia’ agricultural economy and the nation’s food supply chain.
Jasmine started her career at Claxton Poultry Farms in high school as a plant worker. She worked as a HR clerk at the Claxton facility before taking on the role as the HR Manager. She is driven by her passion for the people she works with and the impact they make as a team.
Jasmine quotes a famous rapper when attributing her success, “I like the quote, ‘Started from the bottom, now we’re here.’ That lyric captures my journey well. I worked my way up wile earning both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Georgia Southern University. I didn’t take the easy road, but I learned the value of perseverance, humility and showing up for people every single day.”
