Meet Shaye
Shaye Bryant decided nursing school was not for her and took a leap of faith when she joined Linzer in Metter.
While a very hands-on and technical person, the medical field wasn’t where she wanted to use those skills. She didn’t know that she had a knack for operations, logistics and import specialty until she found Linzer Products Corporation.
Shaye started her career in the office doing HR support work and caught the eye of her mentor, who praised her for her willingness to learn and ability to adapt quickly. Today she is the operations, inventory and import manager at Linzer.
Shaye says about working her way up at Linzer, “I am officially in management after starting at the very bottom in a minimum wage position and have held several roles throughout my almost nine year career here, which I am very proud of every step of my journey.”
On a daily basis now she gets to communicate with carriers and is based out of the shipping/receiving department. Shaye oversees import operations and receiving section of the shipping department primarily. Her days are usually filled with logistics problem solving, carrier and pickup management, inventory discrepancies, fine mitigations with our customers and purchasing operational duties.
